Birthday Party Venues in Caves Beach

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Caves Beach puts a birthday across the road from the surf. Caves Coastal is a bar, restaurant and bungalow resort on Mawson Close with three private event spaces, each with its own deck looking towards the ocean.

Matching a Caves Coastal space to your birthday:

The Pacific Deck takes up to 80 standing on a private ocean-facing deck, which suits a sunset 30th or a casual drinks party.
The Mawson Room has an exclusive deck, a long bar and a sandstone feature wall, with views over the park to the sea.
The Nautilus Room mixes indoor and outdoor areas, handy when the weather can't make up its mind.
Both the Mawson and Nautilus rooms seat up to 160 or hold about 250 for a cocktail party, enough for a big 50th or 60th.
Smaller birthdays start at around 10 guests, with platters for a relaxed catch-up.

Food and drink start from $60 per person, and bungalows on site mean out-of-town family can stay the night.

Platters suit a small group grazing over a couple of hours.
Canapé packages include substantial items for a stand-up party that runs through dinner time.
Alternate-drop set menus and share-style feasts work for a seated birthday dinner.
Drinks packages run three or four hours, with a standard or premium wine list and tap beer.

Turning a Caves Beach birthday into a weekend stay

Caves Coastal has 18 bungalows, 20 villas and 10 townhouses linked by timber boardwalks.
Booking a cluster of bungalows keeps the birthday group together for a beach morning after the party.
The beach sits across the road, so a swim or walk can be built into the next day.
Ask the event team about pairing accommodation with your function booking when you enquire.
