Rosebud Birthday Party Venues, Compared

Rosebud RSL - party venue on the Mornington Peninsula

100

Rosebud RSL – a community club in Rosebud with a function room for up to 100 seated guests, and well suited to a birthday party.

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Rosebud RSL on Eastbourne Road hosts family birthdays in a private function room set apart from its bistro and sports bar. The not-for-profit returned services club looks after the food, the bar and the room on the night.

What a Rosebud RSL birthday looks like:

Up to 100 seated: the function room suits a sit-down lunch or dinner for family and friends.
Drinks in the room: a private bar means nobody has to queue in the main club.
Speeches and slideshows: a projector screen and a microphone come with the room.
Food from the club chefs: pick from set menus at different price points or ask for one made to order.
Grown-up milestones: the club hosts birthdays, anniversaries and family gatherings, but doesn't cater 18th or 21st parties.

Prices sit in a separate function menu, so ask the events staff for it once you know the date and headcount.

Events staff set up a time to walk through the plans once your enquiry comes in.
A custom menu can be built around the guest of honour's favourite dishes.
Bus groups are welcome, which suits a party where relatives travel in together.
The bistro, sports bar and alfresco deck sit alongside the function room within the wider club.

Rosebud birthday details guests should know

The dress code rules out swimwear, so guests coming off the beach should change first.
Headwear and club colours are also off the list, so leave the footy scarf at home.
Bare feet aren't allowed either, worth a line on the invitation.
The same room hosts engagements and relaxed wedding receptions, so it's well used to a celebration.
