Friday evenings from 6pm through daylight saving are when Ringwood Bowls Club on Loughnan Rd throws its greens open for barefoot bowls. The club hands out the bowls and some basic coaching while the bar is open and the BBQs are fired up, weather permitting.
Set among about four acres of greens and gardens at 2-12 Loughnan Rd, the club runs three international-size greens – two turf and one synthetic – with two floodlit for night bowling.
