Birthday Party Venues in Flemington

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Barefoot bowls under lights is the hook at Flemington & Kensington Bowling Club, a pokies-free club where Racecourse, Epsom and Smithfield roads meet. Its green is lit, so a birthday can keep rolling into the evening.

The club does not take 16th, 18th or 21st birthdays, so it suits other milestones and family celebrations.

Three spaces, three sizes of party:

A covered outdoor function space for 15 to 50 – right for a small family gathering
The Roy Gerbing Room for 30 to 100, with competition pool tables
The Main Hall for 50 to 300, with a stage and a dance floor
A rink where 20 guests rotate, eight bowling at once
Afternoon or evening slots, any day of the week

No price is published; send an enquiry to book or to arrange an inspection.

Hosts arrange their own catering for a birthday here.
The club keeps a list of caterers and food trucks that work with the venue.
Drinks are poured from the bar – nothing can be brought in.
The Roy Gerbing Room’s two-tap bar can be staffed by a bartender hired through the club.

Room details for the birthday host

Large windows in both indoor rooms look onto the green, so non-bowlers can watch.
A wall-mounted television and a sound system in each room handle a playlist or slideshow.
The Main Hall adds a projector and screen and opens onto the main bar.
Tell guests on the invitation that bowlers go barefoot or wear flat shoes.
