Bucks Party Venues in Broadmeadows

How Bucks Party Venues Actually Work

Greyhounds, a private bar and a deck for the groom’s mates – that is the pitch of The Deck @ The Meadows. The room belongs to the events centre at the greyhound track in Broadmeadows.

The venue names bucks parties among the functions it pitches the room for.

Five reasons the groom’s mates might pick it:

Book a race night and the crew is right by the action
A bar of its own, so the group isn’t mixing with other punters
Barbecue packages that suit a casual start before a big evening
Room for 150 standing when both families’ friends come along
A roast video of the groom played across the indoor screens

Pricing isn’t listed, so enquire with the date, headcount and whether racing is on.

Kick off outdoors by the track, then head inside when the night cools.
Seated crews of up to 60 can sit down for two or three courses from the in-house chef.
Canapés and antipasto keep a standing crowd fed between races.
Heating and cooling make the room usable in any month the bucks lands.

Sort these before booking

Food has to come from the kitchen – outside catering isn’t permitted beyond a celebration cake.
Choose between a premium drinks package, a tab set by the groomsmen or pay-as-you-go.
Confirm whether the date is a race night, since it changes what the deck looks onto.
Collect dietary needs from the crew so the kitchen can plan around them.
