Bucks Party Venues in Ascot Vale

How Bucks Party Venues Actually Work

Smoked meats, tacos and a bar that usually closes to the public for private events make Lulu's Social a handy base for an Ascot Vale bucks. The locally owned bar and kitchen sits at 162 Union Road, pouring cocktails, tap beer and a long wine list.

Groups from 10 to 120 can spread across its main bar, back courtyard and footpath area, so a small crew and a big send-off for the groom both fit.

How the groom's night can run at Lulu's Social:

Kick-off – drinks on a tab, a two-hour package or pay-as-you-go
Food – Tex-Mex canapés cooked to order, from $28 per person
Main bar – 70 standing or 40 seated, with open floor and room for a band or DJ
Courtyard – fully covered with gas heaters, plus a TV and speakers, for 40 standing or 20 seated
Street front – a fenced footpath section for 50 standing, or 40 seats under umbrellas

There is no minimum spend, and hosts can arrive from 1pm to set up. Send an enquiry with your numbers and preferred date.

Arrive from 1pm to decorate, handy for banners or a themed setup before the bucks group lands
A microphone and sound system cover the speeches and roasts aimed at the groom
The courtyard's screen can carry a slideshow or video for the group
The main bar's glass windows fold open to the street, keeping the room airy once the crowd builds

What the bucks eat and drink

Tex-Mex is the kitchen's focus, with tacos, nachos and smoked meats
Function food comes canapé style, cooked to order rather than set out in advance
Gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and halal guests can be looked after by the kitchen
A two-hour drinks package suits a set start; an open tab keeps the night flexible
