Birthday Party Venues in Davistown

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Davistown's birthday pick is the local RSL club on Murna Road, known around the area as The Davo. Davistown RSL Club faces the water from the foreshore, and its functions team runs parties from a small terrace gathering up to a packed Auditorium.

It suits families who want a big milestone close to home, with the bistro, bars and bowling greens on the same site.

Ways to shape a Davistown birthday at the club:

A 50th or 60th for the extended family: the Davistown room seats about 80, with water outlooks through the windows.
A 21st with a dance crowd: the Auditorium holds up to 350 standing, with a dance floor and stage built in.
A daytime catch-up: the outdoor Terrace works for smaller groups who want fresh air over lunch.
A mid-sized party: the Broadwater room takes around 150 seated once the removable wall divides the Auditorium.
Food on a budget: canapés are the entry point at $25 per person, and the kitchen also does pizza and pasta, buffets and plated dinners.

Every booking includes five hours in the room, so plan speeches, cake and dancing around that window.

Screen and projector: included with the room, handy for a slideshow of old family photos.
Microphone and Bluetooth speakers: also part of the booking, so toasts and a playlist need no extra hire.
Signage easel: stand a welcome sign or a seating board at the door.
Private bar: function rooms can have a bar of their own, with staff organised through the events team.

Canapés: the entry-level packages suit a standing party where people mingle.
Pizza and pasta: a relaxed menu that works for kids and grandparents alike.
Buffet: a good fit when the guest list is long and tastes vary.
Plated dinner: a sit-down meal for a milestone where speeches take centre stage; flag dietary needs early so the chefs can adjust.
