About Byron Events Farm

Byron Events Farm is a 300-acre purpose-built events property at Tyagarah, on the coast north of Byron Bay, and it is the ground Bluesfest is staged on each year. Outside festival time the farm is offered for private hire, from weddings and corporate events to team-building weekends and yoga retreats. The farm is sold as a blank canvas rather than a fixed room. Open paddocks edged with gum trees and a big fig take ceremonies, tipis, stretch tents and marquees, and the gallery shows draped marquee interiors laid with long timber tables and greenery. The main built space on the property is The Green Room, a permanent structure beside a duck pond under grey ghost gums that doubles as the artists' dressing room during the festival. It holds up to 1,500 people and hosts live shows, weddings, corporate events and private celebrations. Catering, tents and production come through the farm's network of suppliers, and the team can help book musicians and other entertainment. Because they have spent decades running a large music festival, they can also look after traffic management, security, waste removal and the rest of the logistics. The property holds a full liquor licence and sits right beside the Pacific Highway, which keeps bump-in and bump-out simple for trucks and suppliers. Events can run from 10am to 10pm Monday to Thursday and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and every booking is priced on a quote built around the event.
