About Beach Byron Bay
Beach Byron Bay sits right on the sand at Clarkes Beach on Massinger Street, looking across the bay towards Cape Byron. The restaurant serves a seasonal, seafood-focused menu with a wine list chosen by its sommelier, and a casual kiosk alongside handles breakfast and lunch by day. For private events the main option is the deck, which looks straight over Clarkes Beach. It holds up to 60 guests for a cocktail-style party or 50 for a seated meal, with menus and wines matched to the occasion. Larger groups can take over the entire restaurant for exclusive use, with a tailored menu and their own service team. Rates for deck hire and buy-outs are quoted by the events team on enquiry. Groups of 10 or more can also book a set menu in the restaurant without hiring a space. There are three options: two courses, three courses, or a shared three-course menu that opens with snacks, and menus can be adjusted to suit the group. Weddings are a big part of what Beach does. Ceremonies can be held on the deck, on Clarkes Beach or up at the lighthouse, and the in-house wedding team looks after styling and permits. Receptions range from relaxed canapés and cocktails through to a formal seated feast, and the team also caters recovery breakfasts, brunches and lunches the day after. Corporate clients use the venue for launches, conferences, cocktail parties and gala dinners, with an events manager coordinating as much or as little as needed. WOW what amazing food. We ate a 5pm to watch the sun go down over the water, which by the way is also happy hour, so you get to view the ocean while sipping margaritas! For our meal I had the Barbecued squid as a starter…

The Michelin Guide need to come to NSW, preferably Byron Bay. There’s only one worthy restaurant of at least 1 star in Byron and it’s not run by a celebrity chef either. Well the chef is a celebrity in his own right. Che…
