About Felons Brewing Co
Felons Brewing Co is a working brewery on the river at Howard Smith Wharves, tucked under the Story Bridge. Beer is poured fresh from large tanks on the brewing floor, and the venue runs a restaurant, a seafood kiosk, a beer garden and a river deck alongside the brewhouse. On Saturdays and Sundays the team hosts guided brewery tours at 12pm and 2pm. Each one opens with the Felons story over a beer, spends roughly an hour behind the scenes on ingredients and brewing craft, and wraps up with a guided tasting. Tours cost $49 per person, paid when booking, and are capped at eight guests, so a small group of friends or colleagues can take one together. Everyone on a tour must be 18 or over and wear closed-toe shoes. Groups that want to stay on can book a table in the brewery restaurant, where everyone eats from one of three set group menus. Bigger gatherings can look at the Brew Deck terrace, the deck above the Fish n' Chipper, the beer garden or a full takeover of the Barrel Hall for seated dinners, cocktail events and presentations. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to plan a group visit.

Frequently asked questions
What does the brewery tour include?
Each tour starts with an introduction to the Felons story with a beer in hand, then spends about an hour behind the scenes on the brewing floor learning about ingredients and process, and finishes with a guided tasting of the beers.
When do tours run and how much are they?
Tours run on Saturdays and Sundays at 12pm and 2pm. They cost $49 per person, and payment is taken in full when the booking is made.
How many people can join a tour, and is there an age limit?
Each tour is limited to eight guests to keep it personal, and every guest must be 18 or older. Minors are welcome in the venue itself when they are with a parent or guardian.
Is there anything we need to wear?
The venue has a relaxed, casual dress code, but closed-toe shoes are required for anyone joining a brewery tour because the tour walks through the working brewery.
Can a bigger group book a function here?
Groups of up to 30 can book a table in the brewery and choose from three group menus. Larger events can enquire about the Brew Deck terrace for around 60, the Fish n' Chipper deck for 80, the beer garden for 150 to 200, or the whole Barrel Hall.
