About Hop On Brewery Tours
Hop On Brewery Tours is an independent, locally owned operator that takes groups around craft breweries and distilleries. Guides pick everyone up in a private air-conditioned van, so the group can relax and sample without worrying about getting home. The Brisbane range includes a full-day inner-city run with lunch and four breweries, a half-day Dash of Brisbane visiting three breweries, and a half-day distillery tour built around gin and native botanicals. Northern Exposure, Southern Sessions and Eastern Expedition each cover four breweries in one part of the city. Every tour starts with the basics of what goes into beer, then heads behind the scenes at one or more venues to meet the brewers and see the production floor. The aim is to help guests work out which styles they enjoy, so it suits beer novices as much as keen home brewers. For something more active, combo tours add go-karting, a short virtual reality game or a detective-style street game before the tastings begin. The team will also put together a custom itinerary for birthdays, hens and bucks parties, corporate days and end-of-year celebrations. All tours are 18+ with photo ID required, and public tours need at least four guests to go ahead. Send an enquiry with your date and group size to plan a private run.

Frequently asked questions
Where does the tour pick us up?
On the Dash of Brisbane half-day tour, pick-up is at 2pm from The Gresham in the CBD, or 2:15pm from the Prince Consort Hotel in Fortitude Valley. Other tours use central pick-up points close to public transport.
How long do the Brisbane tours run?
The half-day brewery tour takes about three and a half to four hours, the distillery tour about four hours, and the full-day brewery tour roughly six hours. The virtual reality combo runs about five hours.
Is food included?
The full-day inner-city brewery tour includes lunch, and every tour has snacks on the van. On the half-day Dash of Brisbane, lunch is not included but can be bought at the breweries along the way.
Is there an age limit or a minimum group size?
Every guest must be 18 or over and bring photo ID. Public tours need a minimum of four guests to run, and bookings below that stay pending until the team gets in touch with options.
Can we book a private tour for our group?
Yes. The team builds tailored itineraries for birthdays, hens and bucks parties, work functions, team building and end-of-year celebrations, and you can request a particular brewery when booking. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers.
