Choosing the Right Wedding Reception Venue

Hillstone St Lucia is a heritage-listed homestead on Carawa Street inside the St Lucia Golf Links. Each of its two outdoor ceremony sites is paired with a reception room, and both have a wet-weather plan.

A Hillstone wedding, from vows to reception:

Courtyard Garden: a ceremony site for up to 100.
The Fountain: a ceremony site suiting 100 to 200.
Rosewood Room: polished floors and a private veranda for 90 seated or 100 standing.
Grandview Room: 5.5-metre ceilings and golf course views, seating 420 with a dance floor.
Mango Tree Terrace: a lit outdoor bar under a heritage-listed tree for pre-dinner drinks.

Cocktail packages start at $42 per person, and plated dinners are also offered. Drinks run on timed packages or a bar tab, and bars close at midnight.

The house began in the 1880s as William Dart's family homestead.
It later served as the Indooroopilly Golf Club's original clubhouse.
It is heritage listed.
The golf links make a green backdrop for photos.
