pop. the party is a party hire business run from a home-based warehouse in Wulkuraka, Ipswich, making balloon garlands and pop-up picnics that are delivered and set up across Ipswich, Brisbane and Logan. The focus is affordable styling for birthdays, baby showers, christenings, engagements, weddings and work events. Every balloon garland is built to order. You choose the colours – three is the usual recommendation – and the garland can be arranged over a white or gold mesh frame or a white hoop with a name sign. Latex balloons get a Hi-Float treatment to help them last longer, helium balloons are available, and installation is part of the service, with delivery charged by location. Pop-up picnics run for three hours and bring jute rugs and cushions around low picnic tables, with tableware, water and wine glasses, serving trays, water jugs and decor, in colour themes from blush pink and terracotta to olive, navy and lilac. Packages range from a date night for two up to 32 guests, and everything is set up and packed down for you, so you simply arrive. Food and drinks are not included. Extras for hire include backdrop frames, a lolly Ferris wheel, a clear donut wall, a boho lace teepee, a giant Connect 4 game and tall bar tables. Does pop. the party deliver and install?
Yes. Garlands and picnics are delivered across Ipswich, Brisbane and Logan, with the delivery charge based on your location and installation included as part of the service.
Can I pick my own balloon colours?
Yes. Every garland is made to order, and three colours is the usual recommendation. Picnic colour themes can be chosen too, from blush pink and baby blue to terracotta, olive green and navy.
What is included in a pop-up picnic?
Each three-hour package covers jute rugs and cushions around low picnic tables, plus plates, cutlery and napkins, water and wine glasses, serving trays, water jugs and decor. Food and drinks are not included, so bring your own or arrange a caterer.
How much do the picnic packages cost?
Packages run from $200 for a date night for two, then $250 for up to six guests, $300 for 7–12, $400 for 13–18, $500 for 19–24 and $600 for 25–32. Extra hours are $50 each.
Is there a showroom to visit?
No. Every garland is made to order for its event, so there is no balloon showroom – the business runs from a home-based warehouse in Wulkuraka. Backdrop frames can be collected for DIY styling.
