About Bayside Hampers & Events
Kim and Nat run Bayside Hampers & Events, a family business from Brisbane's bayside. The pair began with baby hampers made for local sporting clubs, then added balloon styling, and now decorate private celebrations and close to 100 venues across Greater Brisbane. Their event work centres on balloon garlands and backdrops. Organic garlands in pastels, metallics or bold colours are built around arch frames, flower walls and white plinths, often finished with a round or arched sign carrying a name or welcome message. Clients pick shades from the balloon and vinyl colour catalogue, and a digital mock-up of the design can be ordered for a small fee. Private bookings cover birthdays, baby showers, engagements, weddings and anniversaries. For corporate clients, the business plans seasonal décor and promotions for venues, with bookings opening ahead of Christmas, New Year's Eve, spring racing, Valentine's Day and major sporting events. Gift hampers remain part of the range and can be ordered alongside an event. Balloon and décor orders need at least seven days' notice, and custom backdrops at least four weeks. Delivery orders carry a minimum spend, and deliveries and collections run between early morning and early evening. How much notice does Bayside Hampers & Events need?
Balloon and décor orders need at least seven days' notice, custom backdrops need four weeks, and late orders may attract a rush fee if the team can fit them in.
Is there a minimum order for delivery?
Yes. Delivery orders carry a minimum spend of $200, and deliveries and collections run between 6am and 6pm, with a fee for times outside those hours.
How long will the balloons last?
Indoors, helium balloons last around a day, while air-filled garlands can last up to four weeks out of direct sun. Outdoors, heat, wind and rain shorten their life, so durability is not guaranteed.
Can we see the design before the event?
A digital mock-up can be ordered for $30 per concept, covering one initial design. Further revisions cost extra, and colours are chosen from the balloon and vinyl catalogue.
Do they work with venues and businesses?
Corporate clients can book seasonal décor and promotions for their venue, with bookings opening ahead of Christmas, New Year's Eve, race days and other key dates through the year.
