Christmas Party Venues in Norman Park

What to Know Before Booking Christmas Party Venues

A twilight game on lit greens is a different kind of December break-up. Norman Park Sports & Community Club hires its Function Room to teams, clubs and families, with the bowling greens right outside the glass doors.

Pieces of a Norman Park Christmas function:

The Function Room from $400 room hire, for five hours, with extra time possible on request.
Two hours of barefoot bowls with an instructor, under lights after dark.
Chef-cooked barbecue buffets with salads, or hot and cold platters for 10 to 15 people each.
A capped bar tab, drawn on by staff wearing wristbands.
A drop-down screen with laptop connection, plus a microphone and lectern on request, for the end-of-year speech.

Fairy lights, flowers and balloons are allowed, so the plain room can be dressed for Christmas.

Room hire is a fixed figure, which makes the cost easy to sign off.
Catering carries a minimum spend and is ordered ahead from the function menu.
The capped bar tab means the drinks bill never runs past the amount set.
Sliders or burgers that guests assemble themselves make a casual alternative to a sit-down meal.

Running the night at the Norman Avenue club

Glass bi-folds along one side let the party flow between the room and the greens.
Outdoor barbecue tables under shade sails give staff a spot to sit between ends.
The room has its own restrooms and wi-fi.
Staff driving in after work can use the club's off-street parking.
