Choosing the Right School Formal Venue

The Arena beside Mansfield Tavern has been a live music room since the 1970s. Its staging and concert lighting make it a strong fit for a school formal with a dance floor and a band or DJ.

Why The Arena works for a southside formal:

It seats 450 for a formal dinner.
Professional staging suits presentations and speeches.
Concert sound and lighting are already in the room.
A large LED screen and projectors handle a year-in-review video.
A backstage area helps the organisers and performers.

For a smaller cohort, the bistro combines into a private room for 100. The carvery buffet starts at $49 per person.

A set alternate-drop menu of two or three plated courses.
A roast carvery buffet.
A bespoke buffet.
Share platters for arrival.
