Lawn Bowls in Manly

Club Manly is a community bowls club on Faine Street, on the bayside. Alongside its pennant and social competitions, it opens its two greens for barefoot bowls, so groups can book without joining.

Why Club Manly works in any weather:

• Both greens are undercover and lit, so rain, heat or a late start rarely stop a game.
• The club supplies all the bowls, and experienced coaches show first-timers how to deliver one.
• Bare feet or flat-soled shoes are the only dress rule.
• A game runs for up to two hours, priced from $10 per person.
• Children are welcome from five, with under-12s rolling lighter rubber bowls.

Food and drinks stay off the green, but the BBQ area, Reedy's Bistro and the bar are all a few steps away. Drinks are charged at club prices.
