Choosing the Right School Formal Venue

Schools across the Ipswich & Springfield region have two listed formal venues. One is a lakeside hotel function centre at Springfield Lakes, the other a racecourse in Bundamba.

Comparing the two formal venues:

Springlake Hotel sells a formal package built around the Grand Pavilion.
The Grand Pavilion seats 200, under floating ceilings and chandeliers.
At the Bundamba racecourse, the events centre goes past 200 seated and 500 on their feet.
The Turf Club's Trackside and Eye Liner lounges seat 120 each.
Both venues have parking on site.
