About Lotus Events
Lotus Events is a Loganholme-based styling business that turns a patch of lawn into a dressed table setting. Its main offer is the styled picnic: wooden low tables set over rugs and plump cushions, or high tables with chairs, laid with cloth napkins, plates, cutlery, table decorations and a chalkboard sign. Packages are sized by guest numbers, from a small table for two to six people up to long runs of tables for groups of more than fifty. Every package comes two ways. With DIY hire you collect the kit from Loganholme, set it up yourself and return it within 24 hours, with a refundable bond. With the set-up option the team brings everything to your chosen location at the agreed time, lays it out and takes it away afterwards; delivery is included within 15 km, and other parts of the Brisbane region are priced on request. Themes include beige, blue boho, pink boho, a blue and pink mix, olive green, burnt orange, teddy bear and Christmas. Extras such as high serving tables, cake and cookie stands, champagne glasses, fairy lights, white Americana chairs and occasion signs for birthdays, baby showers and brides-to-be can be added to any booking. For couples, Lotus Events also dresses small outdoor ceremonies. The elopement set-up for two to four people includes an arch, chairs and a signing table, and larger pop-up wedding packages for up to 30 guests add an aisle runner and an optional picnic-style reception. What happens if it rains on the day?
Clients nominate a covered back-up location when booking. If the team cancels because of bad weather, the booking is refunded in full; client cancellations need 14 days notice for picnics and 30 days for weddings.
