Kensington Tavern - party venue in Brisbane

From $50pp

Bring your Christmas party to Kensington Tavern, a Crestmead pub with a private function room and bar for up to 80 guests.

What to Know Before Booking Christmas Party Venues

Logan workplaces wanting a Christmas lunch or dinner in Crestmead can take over Kensington Tavern's function room. It sits apart from the bistro and the sports bar, with a bar and amenities of its own.

Ways to run a Christmas function in the room:

A seated dinner for up to 60, with alternate-drop plated menus from $50 per person.
A stand-up party for up to 80, fed from share platters.
A buffet of roasts, casseroles, salads and dessert, for 30 or more guests.
A presentation session in theatre rows for 50, using the projector and screen.
A themed room, with coloured runners and chair covers set out by the team.

Functions of 50 or more require security, which matters for a larger office party.

Air conditioning keeps the room comfortable in December.
The pub kitchen handles all the food, so there is no outside caterer to coordinate.
In-house speakers can play a playlist you connect.
Weeknight room hire is lower than Friday or weekend rates.

Choosing a format at Kensington Tavern

A three-course plated menu suits a more formal end-of-year dinner.
Banquet rows encourage the whole team to sit together.
An open floor works better when the night is about drinks and mingling.
The pub also runs a sports bar with pool tables and screens.
