How Escape Rooms Actually Work

Hijinx Hotel Chermside is a playful games venue styled like a quirky hotel, on Level 2 of Westfield Chermside. Guests check in at the front desk and are handed a set of rooms to conquer.

Checking in at Hijinx Hotel Chermside:

Each team of two to six plays five rooms, or the full ten.
Every room has its own task and a short time limit.
Points land on a leaderboard that resets daily.
Entry starts from $23 per person.
Wear clothes you can move in, as some tasks are active.

Party packages add a host, a reserved area and shared food, and higher tiers bring one or two hours of drinks.

House cocktails are mixed at the bar.
Beer, wine and soft drinks are also served.
The kitchen sends out burgers, pizzas, tacos, sliders and share plates.
Food and drinks stay in the bar, not the game rooms.
