About Love Me Do Celebrancy
Love Me Do Celebrancy is Jade Saddler, a Brisbane-based civil marriage celebrant. Before celebrancy she spent ten years as a primary school teacher, including learning-support work, which left her adaptable, organised and good with people of every age. She decided to become a celebrant after watching a lively young celebrant at a friend's wedding. Her own ceremonies follow that lead – warm and relaxed, with plenty of fun, while still handled professionally. Jade gets to know each couple first and builds the ceremony around their story. She is open to themed clothing, festival-style weddings and pets in the ceremony, and she supports marriage equality. Her service covers a first meeting to lodge the Notice of Intended Marriage, then planning by meeting, email or phone. On the day she delivers the ceremony and completes the legal paperwork, and afterwards applies for your official certificate. A rehearsal at the venue or your home is available, and she can liaise with your wedding planner. Frequently asked questions
How much does a ceremony with Jade cost?
A personalised marriage ceremony is $1,100. Elopement or registry-style ceremonies, commitment ceremonies and vow renewals are $600, and a legals-only ceremony with the couple and two witnesses is $400.
What does the ceremony fee include?
A first meeting, planning by meeting, email or phone, the written ceremony, all legal paperwork, an optional rehearsal, a PA with wireless microphone, a signing table and chairs, and your ceremony printed in a folder.
Can our dog be part of the wedding?
Yes. Jade is happy to include a treasured pet in the ceremony, and she will also dress to a theme if that suits the style of your day.
How is the booking secured?
Jade asks for a $200 booking fee, which is not refundable, within a week of your Notice of Intended Marriage being signed. The rest is paid 14 days before the wedding.
Can a friend or family member help deliver the ceremony?
Yes. Jade can co-deliver the ceremony with a family member or friend while she looks after the legal wording and the paperwork.
