About Confetti Cake Co.
Confetti Cake Co. is a wedding cake studio in Dayboro, north of Brisbane, run by a former graphic designer. Her style is playful and graphic with a vintage edge, and everything is baked from scratch in a council-licensed Class 1 kitchen using local produce where she can, from free-range eggs to Mount Mee honey. Cakes come in buttercream or fondant, in standard, tall or double-barrel tiers. Each tier carries one flavour combination, with choices such as vanilla bean with crushed raspberry, gingerbread and rum with Biscoff buttercream, and a lemon cake soaked in lemon and gin syrup. Gluten-friendly versions of many cakes are possible, while other dietary options are made as cupcakes. Two, three and four tier cakes include delivery and set-up in the quote. She works with your florist to check the flowers are food safe, then styles them on the cake when it arrives. Delivery is priced by area, with set fees for the Brisbane area, Samford, Petrie, The Gap and Bribie Island, and preferred-supplier rates at some venues. Alongside the cake, couples can add a doughnut wall with buttermilk doughnuts, a custom dessert buffet or sugar cookie favours stamped with names or a wedding date. How much does a Confetti Cake Co. wedding cake cost?
The guide starts at $180 for a petite single tier serving about 16 dessert slices. Two tier cakes start at $385, three tiers at $600 and four tiers at $910, with fondant, gold leaf and fresh flowers costing extra and delivery quoted by area.
Is delivery included for tiered cakes?
Yes. Delivery and set-up are built into the quote for every two, three and four tier cake so it arrives safely. Single tier cakes and cookies can be collected from the Dayboro studio by appointment instead.
Can our florist supply flowers for the cake?
Yes, and it is encouraged. The decorator checks the selection is safe for food, explains how the stems should be prepared, and places the flowers on the cake herself during set-up at the venue.
Can we taste the cake before booking?
Taster boxes are released two or three times a year for wedding clients. Each box holds ten dessert-sized samples and a mini sugar cookie, and part of the cost comes off a qualifying cake order.
