Birthday Party Venues in Carina

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

A community bowls club on Thorne Street might not be the first place you think of for a big birthday, but the Hibiscus Room at Belmont Services Bowls Club is built for one. It is an air-conditioned hall for up to 200, booked for your group alone, by day or by night.

Why families pick the Hibiscus Room for a Carina birthday:

A stage at one end and 142 square metres of parquetry floor, which musicians and dance groups rate for its sound.
Flexible food: Souvlaki Time, the Greek kitchen on site, may cater, or you can bring an outside caterer or your own food.
No minimum bar spend, with drinks from the club bar on a bar tab or as a cash bar.
Bluetooth audio, Wi-Fi, a lectern, a projector and screen, and cordless microphones at no charge.
Free decorating time before the event, either by you or a stylist you bring in.

Barefoot bowls can be added to a function, which gives a mixed-age party something to do outside.

A small annex holds supplies and a fridge keeps the cake cold, though the commercial kitchen is not available to hirers.
Glitter and confetti are not allowed, so plan decorations around balloons, flowers or table styling.
There are 64 parking spaces on site for guests.
Tea and coffee are available for an extra charge if you want them after cake.

Smaller Carina birthdays at the bowls club

Groups too small for the hall can reserve an area of the club bar itself instead.
Tables and chairs are arranged to suit each booking, from long banquet rows to round tables.
The club is volunteer-run, which keeps the feel relaxed and local.
A daytime booking suits a kids' party or a family lunch, with the evening left for an adult crowd.
