About Maddi & The Dreamers
Maddi & The Dreamers are a five-piece Brisbane band who play corporate functions, weddings, private parties and live music venues. They offer two formats, an acoustic duo and the full band, and they describe themselves as a band rather than a business. That shows in how they work. Every show is played by the same five members, with guitar and synth effects performed live instead of running from backing tracks, and the band aims to match each song to the original recording. Each booking also includes a dedicated mixing engineer and a lighting set-up matched to the colours of your event. Private parties get a streamlined show at a home or hired venue, covering birthdays, anniversaries and similar celebrations. You get a tailored set list and lighting, the band's microphone for speeches, and a live version of Happy Birthday. Weddings can be planned as a full-day package, with the duo playing the ceremony and canapés and the full band taking over for dinner and dancing. Songs can be arranged for the aisle walk, first dance and cake cutting, and the band's PA is free to use for speeches. Corporate bookings add a choice of outfits, songs requested for the event and early set-up with no time limit on site. Send an enquiry with your date, suburb and guest numbers for pricing.

Frequently asked questions
Do Maddi & The Dreamers use backing tracks?
No. The band plays guitar and synth parts live and does not rely on backing tracks or fill-in musicians, so the same five people you book are the ones playing your event.
Can we have a smaller group for part of the event?
Yes. An acoustic duo is available as well as the full band. Wedding packages often use the duo for the ceremony and canapés, then bring in the five-piece for dinner and the dance floor.
What space and power does the band need?
They ask for a flat, undercover stage area at least 5m wide and 3.5m deep, with four or more standard power outlets on mains power. They can also work with a venue's existing house equipment.
Is sound and lighting included in the booking?
Yes. The package covers PA equipment, lighting and insurances, and every show comes with a dedicated mixing engineer. Lighting is set up to suit the theme or colours of your event.
Will the band play at a birthday party at home?
Yes. Their private party show is designed for birthdays, anniversaries and similar events at private homes or hired venues, with a tailored set list, lighting and a microphone you can use for speeches.
