When the end-of-year party is more about unwinding than speeches, a local pub does the job well. Smithfield Tavern, at 671 The Horsley Dr and roughly 20 minutes from the Parramatta CBD, takes bookings for work functions with room for up to 100 standing or 75 seated.
It doubles as a clubhouse for local sporting teams, so it is set up for groups that like a beer, a meal and a game on the screen.
