How Bowling Alleys Work

Ten-pin lanes under a neon circus tent are the draw at Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq Docklands, at 440 Docklands Dr inside The District. Book a lane on the website or at the desk when you walk in, and there's nothing to pay at the door.

Party packages are pitched at crowds of between 10 and 30. Why groups book the lanes here:

The starter package puts a bowling game, shared pizzas and fries, and a reserved area together.
Step-up packages pour house drinks – beer, wine, cider, soft drinks – for an hour or two, with finger food.
Dodgem cars, laser tag, an XD motion theatre and arcade games fill the time between frames.
Dazzler's Diner serves burgers, pizzas and share plates.
Bowling and games from $23 per person.

Booths can't be reserved unless you book a function.
Outside food isn't allowed, so plan to eat from the diner or a package.
The reserved area stays yours for the length of the function.

Ages, opening limits and parking at The District

Any age is welcome; kids and teens can stay till 9pm on Sunday to Thursday nights and till 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Younger children need a responsible adult with them, and adults need ID after 8pm.
Parking is in the West Car Park at The District, opposite O'Brien Group Arena.
Free trams – the 86, 35 and 70 – run out of Southern Cross.

What's in the Archie Brothers bowling party package?

The starter package bundles one bowling game (or an hour on the arcade floor) with pizzas, fries and a reserved area for the function. Larger packages bring house drinks and finger food.

Can kids go bowling at Archie Brothers in Docklands?

Yes. Any age can bowl; younger children need an adult, and under-18s head home by 9pm Sunday to Thursday, or 8pm Friday and Saturday.

Do we pay to get into Cirque Electriq?

No – entry is free. Credit for the games goes on a card loaded when you arrive, and lanes are booked separately.
