How to Choose the Right Hens Party Venue

Swapping heels for bare feet on a bowling green makes a change from the usual hens lunch, and Clayton Sports Club in the suburb's south builds a celebration around it. Hens groups are among the bookings the club takes, using its semi-private function space and bar.

What the club can put together for the hens:

  • Barefoot bowls in a two-hour session, no experience needed
  • The Cobra Dome, a covered and lit synthetic green that plays in any weather
  • Bingo, trivia or a drag DJ to keep the energy up
  • Finger-food platters, or a themed buffet priced from $45 per person
  • A bar tab with a cap the maid of honour sets, or a drinks package

After the bowls, the bridal party can carry on with darts or a game of pool in the bar.
