About Tides Byron Estate
Tides Byron Estate covers 22 hectares on North Teven Road at Teven, in the Byron Bay hinterland. A mature macadamia orchard and open farmland surround the property, and it is hired to one event at a time. The estate has three main parts. A large fig tree in the orchard is the ceremony site, the Grand Hall is the reception and event space, and the Villa is an eight-bedroom house used for getting ready and staying over. The Grand Hall holds up to 160 guests, with a permanent onyx bar, chandeliers, festoon and ambient lighting and a built-in Sonos sound system. If rain threatens, the ceremony can move indoors to the hall, and the grounds are used for cocktails and photos. Each wedding package includes the estate's tables, bentwood chairs, cocktail furniture, crockery, glassware and linen, plus two nights in the Villa for up to 22 guests. Catering is not included, so couples book their own caterer, who works from the commercial kitchen and cool room on site. The bar is run by Tides, with beverage packages that include bar staff and equipment. Celebrations finish by 11:30 pm, and events over 100 guests may need security, which is quoted separately. Companies can hire the Grand Hall and selected grounds for conferences, product launches, gala dinners and company celebrations. The base hire covers one event day and one Villa night, and the team can coordinate AV, catering, styling, entertainment and guest transport.

Corporate and large events start at $12,000 for one day of Grand Hall use plus one Villa night. Each extra event day is $11,000, each extra Villa night is $2,400, and a refundable $3,000 security deposit applies. Elopements and micro weddings are priced to suit.

For corporate events, Tides can line up catering partners for anything from conference breaks and lunches to canapés and a formal sit-down dinner.

What does a wedding at Tides Byron Estate cost?
The fixed estate fee is $10,560 for a Monday to Thursday wedding and $14,410 for a Friday to Sunday wedding. There is no per-guest surcharge, and catering is booked separately.
How many guests can the estate host?
The Grand Hall and estate take up to 160 guests for weddings and corporate events. The Villa sleeps up to 22 people overnight.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes. Catering is not part of the venue fee, so you choose your own caterer, who has use of the commercial kitchen, cool room and dishwasher. The estate also keeps a list of caterers who have worked there before.
What happens if it rains on the wedding day?
The Grand Hall doubles as an indoor ceremony and reception space. You can plan the layout for both options with the Tides team.
Are dogs allowed at the estate?
Pets are not permitted unless Tides gives written approval beforehand. Where a dog is approved for a wedding, it can attend the ceremony and photos and must leave before pre-dinner drinks.
