About Bribie Island RSL
Bribie Island RSL is a large community club on Toorbul Street in Bongaree, on the Moreton Bay side of Bribie Island. Alongside its bistro, café, sports bar and whiskey bar, it runs an events team that plans birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, weddings and corporate days. The auditorium is the main function room, holding up to 300 for a cocktail party, 250 for a banquet or 200 at round tables. It can be themed to your style and is the club's main space for wedding receptions. Smaller groups have plenty of choice. The Garden Room takes up to 70, the Social Terrace up to 90, the Large Terrace 60, the Anzac Room 60, the Botanic Lounge 50 and the Small Terrace 30. Room hire covers exclusive use of the room, set-up to your plan, linen and glassware. Catering runs from light, corporate and deluxe canapé packages to plated menus served alternately, share plates and a lunch-only menu. Grazing tables, platters, tray cakes and a tea and coffee station can be added, and the team can cut and serve your celebration cake. Drinks can go on a bar tab or be paid as guests order. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, apart from a celebration cake. The club offers ample free parking, and its courtesy bus is available to visitors coming onto the island as well as to members. The meeting rooms are fitted with a data projector, screen and whiteboard for work events.
