School Formal Venues in the Redlands

Choosing the Right School Formal Venue

Formal season in the Redlands centres on Mount Cotton, where Sirromet Winery opens its function rooms to school groups. The estate's bushland and Moreton Bay outlook give a year group a setting apart from suburban halls.

Matching a Redlands year group to the Sirromet rooms:

Large cohorts: Lurleen's fits 260 at long tables under a high timber ceiling.
Stand-up formals: the same room takes 300 when guests mingle instead of sitting down.
Mid-sized schools: the Barrel Hall seats around 100.
Outdoor moments: the Summer House is open-air and stands 120 on the lawn.
Speeches: a microphone, sound system, screens and wifi are on hand.

Catering is arranged through the estate, and every room is wheelchair accessible.

The 560-acre estate gives a formal room to breathe, with bushland and vineyard all around.
Lurleen's outlook over Moreton Bay makes an evening backdrop for the arrival.
Families can photograph students in the vines or by the lagoon before dinner.
Sirromet is a family-founded estate that also hosts graduation celebrations.
