Memorable Weddings and Events is run by Andrew McLennan, a Brisbane wedding celebrant who also works as a reception MC. Having one person at the microphone from the vows through to the speeches means the day hangs together, and guests hear a familiar voice when it is time to move from the ceremony to the celebration. Andrew has spent more than 15 years helping couples plan their weddings, conduct their ceremonies and host their receptions. Before that, his working life was in corporate training and on air as a radio presenter in Brisbane, which shows in a hosting style he describes as relaxed, enthusiastic and engaging. Yes. Andrew offers wedding ceremonies, elopements and a reception and planning service, so the same person can marry you and then host the reception that follows.

Is there a charge for the first meeting?
No. Andrew offers a free consultation so you can talk through the ceremony, the reception and what you want from the day before you commit to anything.
What comes with the ceremony packages?
Each package covers preparing and lodging the marriage paperwork, a commemorative certificate on the day and four white cupcakes. Higher packages add a bottle of French champagne and an hour of professional photography.
Can a package be changed to suit us?
Yes. Packages can be customised – for example swapping the cupcakes for a cake or adding a bouquet. Reception MC work is quoted to suit your day, so send an enquiry with your date and plans.
