Birthday Party Venues in Manly

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Manly's two birthday venues sit at opposite ends of the budget: a marina-front boat club with rooms for big crowds, and an intimate fire-cooking restaurant on the Esplanade. Both look after drinks and food in-house, so the decision is mostly about atmosphere and numbers.

How the two Manly birthday venues compare:

Manly Harbour Boat Club's North Stradbroke Room seats 120 or holds 250 standing, with its own staffed bar.
Upstairs, the club's open-air Rooftop Bar can go to one birthday group of up to 100 cocktail guests.
Canape packages at the boat club start from $27 per person, with buffets and plated menus for larger groups.
The Arsonist takes up to 75 standing or 50 seated when the whole restaurant is booked, from $8,000 minimum spend midweek.
Smaller groups at The Arsonist can take the chef's tables for 12 or a feasting menu among other diners.

Room hire in the North Stradbroke Room covers four hours, a projector screen and private bathrooms.
The Seaside Garden Bar reserves picnic tables on the lawn for up to 50 with background music.
An 18+ semi-private rooftop section suits 50 guests with a DJ nearby and the premium drinks package.
Every space carries a minimum spend, which the club quotes on enquiry.

A fire-cooked birthday dinner at The Arsonist

Every dish is cooked over fire, and the open kitchen puts the flame grill in view of each table.
The bar pours cocktails, wine and a deep whisky range for a grown-up celebration.
Groups of 12 or more can order a feasting menu with share plates, whole animals and desserts.
Sound and AV for speeches come with exclusive hire of the whole venue.
