Birthday Party Venues in Indooroopilly

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

The Indooroopilly Hotel on Station Road keeps a private party room called Platform One, built with a big birthday in mind. It has its own bar, a stage, a dance floor under disco balls, a DJ booth, a pool table, a jukebox and a large deck.

What makes Platform One work for a birthday:

The full space holds up to 200 guests, which covers a big 21st or 30th.
It can be split into zones, from a booth and pool table corner for about 20 to a dance floor for about 100.
A projector, roaming microphone, lighting and sound system are included for speeches.
Private toilets, bar staff, table cloths and set-up and pack-down come with the room.
Outside food and drink stay out, though the hotel makes an exception for the birthday cake.

For a smaller gathering, the hotel's alfresco bistro beside a games lounge seats up to 60.

Hot platters cover sliders, chicken skewers, wings and wedges, seafood and pizza.
Cold platters include sandwiches, wraps, fruit and desserts.
Platters are the catering format, so plan the menu around them.
Function pricing beyond the platters is quoted on enquiry.

House rules worth checking

A cleaning fee applies if confetti is thrown, so skip the cannons.
The lounge and Highways zones each hold about 40, which suits a mid-size party.
The DJ booth makes it easy to bring in your own DJ.
