About Pole Fitness Australia
Pole Fitness Australia teaches pole dancing and pole fitness from a studio on Pickering Street in Enoggera. The air-conditioned room holds 21 poles, all 4 metres high, plus a mezzanine set aside for stretching. Beyond its regular courses, the studio hosts private pole parties. It pitches them at hens nights, birthdays, girls' nights out, corporate functions and fitness groups looking for a night out that is a bit different. Your group gets the studio to itself, an instructor teaches a fun, slightly cheeky routine, and the session ends with an instructor performance. There are two packages. Gold runs for an hour and covers up to ten people, with room for photos along the way. Platinum stretches to 90 minutes and adds costumes and accessories, a gift for every guest, a $100 studio credit for the guest of honour and alcohol-free bubbles when you arrive. No experience or fitness base is needed. The instructors hold Ecole de Pole master trainer qualifications and start everyone at the basics. Bare skin helps you grip the pole, so wear shorts and leave off any lotion, and remove your jewellery before you start. Send an enquiry with your preferred date, group size and package to book a party.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pole party cost?
The Gold package is $150 for up to ten people and the Platinum package is $300 for up to ten. Each package adds $10 for every guest past the first ten.
What is the difference between the two packages?
Gold is a one-hour private class with the studio to yourselves, a routine to learn, photo opportunities and an instructor performance. Platinum runs for 90 minutes and adds costumes and accessories, a gift for each guest, non-alcoholic champagne on arrival and a $100 studio credit for the guest of honour.
Do we need any pole or dance experience?
No. The studio says no dance background or upper body strength is needed, and every instructor holds Ecole de Pole master trainer qualifications, teaching from the very first move.
What should guests wear?
Shorts or skorts work well, because exposed skin is what grips the pole. Skip body lotion on the day, leave jewellery at home and bring a towel and a water bottle. Heels are not advised for anyone new to pole.
Can guests under 18 join in?
The studio asks for parental consent for any student under 18, so younger guests will need a parent or guardian to sign off before the party.
