About Hanger 66
Hanger 66 is a pole fitness studio on Brereton Street in South Brisbane that also teaches calisthenics, dance and floorwork, Pilates and yoga. Alongside its weekly timetable, the studio hosts private pole parties for hens groups, bucks groups and corporate and work events. No dance or gymnastics experience is needed, as the instructors teach every guest from the first spin. Each party opens with a warm-up, moves on to a handful of beginner tricks and finishes with a short routine, and your instructor may round things off with a performance of their own. Groups can choose a bright morning class aimed at fitness, or a dimmer evening session built around a playful, exotic-style routine. The Basic Pole Party runs for 60 minutes and the Premium Pole Party for 90 minutes, both with a minimum of eight guests. The studio recommends the longer party for groups of more than 10, and Premium guests each receive a casual class pass to use later. A grazing platter with dips, fruit, sweets and a glass of sparkling wine each can be added. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to start planning.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pole party cost?
The Basic Pole Party is $35 per person for 60 minutes and the Premium Pole Party is $45 per person for 90 minutes, each with a minimum of eight guests. A $150 deposit holds the booking and the balance is due seven days before the party.
Which party length should we choose?
The studio suggests the 90-minute Premium party once your group passes 10 people, since it gives everyone more time on the poles. Premium guests also each receive a casual class pass so they can come back for a regular class.
Do we need any dance or fitness experience?
No. Hanger 66 says no particular strength, fitness or dance background is required, and parties begin with a warm-up before teaching simple beginner tricks that build into a short routine.
What should guests wear?
For pole, wear a tank or crop top with shorts, because bare skin helps you grip the pole, and footwear is optional. Skip moisturiser on the day, as it makes the pole slippery.
Can we add food and drinks?
Yes. A grazing platter is $15 per person on top of the party price and includes dips, crackers, vegetable sticks, fruit, cookies and sweets, plus a glass of sparkling wine each. Platters for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or dairy-free guests are quoted on request.
