Lawn Bowls: What to Look For

Carina Bowls Club is a community club on Stanley Road with two grass greens under lights. Its barefoot bowls bookings are aimed at families, friends and workmates who want an easy game together.

What a barefoot bowls booking in Carina looks like:

Tables and seating are set up beside your rink, so the group stays together.
Pizzas and platters from Panchos, the club's restaurant on the back deck, come out to the table.
Bowls come in sizes for all ages, and under-12s play free with an adult.
Games start from $5 per person, with a higher peak rate in November and December, with package rates for larger groups.
The bar stays open through functions, with wine, beer and spirits.

The club shapes each booking around the group, whether that is a handful of friends or a large work crowd. A catering deposit confirms the date.

Birthdays for all ages, with kids bowling alongside adults.
Christmas parties on lit greens into the evening.
Team building days for workplaces.
End of financial year celebrations.
