Bonny View Hotel - party venue in Brisbane

150

Planning a birthday party? Bonny View Hotel is a Gympie Road pub in Bald Hills with three function areas for up to 150 guests.

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Bonny View Hotel has poured beers on Gympie Road in Bald Hills since 1935, and it hosts birthdays in semi-private areas of the pub rather than a closed room. That suits a relaxed family celebration or a casual night with mates.

Three areas at the Bonny View Hotel for a birthday group:

The restaurant: seats 70 or holds about 100 standing, the pick for a seated lunch or dinner.
The terrace: an open, laid-back dining area for seated groups of up to 30.
The public bar: seats 100 or holds up to 150, with screens for the footy and acoustic music on weekends.
Shared platters: Asian bites, wings, sandwiches, pies and quiche, antipasto and pizza for the table.
No cakeage: bring your own birthday cake without a fee.

Decorations are fine as long as they are not messy, and dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas. Note any vegan or gluten-free needs when booking.

Set menus, canapés and beverage packages are listed too, so ask the team which suits your numbers.
Seasonal fruit platters round out a spread for a family afternoon.
Parking is on site and in nearby streets.
Wheelchair access is in place, useful with older relatives coming along.

Picking a Bonny View area by birthday style

A 21st or 30th with a crowd fits the public bar, where the night has more energy.
A milestone dinner for close family sits better in the restaurant.
A group of up to 30 suits the terrace for a long lunch.
The beer garden and gaming room sit alongside for guests who like to wander.
