Saltwater Restaurant sits on the first floor at 3 Marine Drive, Fingal Bay, looking out over the water. Its wedding offer keeps the ceremony, reception and photos in one place, so guests stay put for the whole day. Ceremonies take place on a balcony deck above the bay. If the weather turns, the ceremony moves inside with the same outlook, provided your chosen contact makes the call by 10am. The reception room is bright and contemporary, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an easy flow out to the balcony. The restaurant seats up to 150 guests or holds 170 for a cocktail-style reception. Micro weddings of up to 40 adults run as a three-hour booking. Couples also get a private room to themselves while guests arrive. A standard wedding includes six hours of venue hire, made up of a one-hour ceremony and a five-hour reception. Ceremonies usually start at 5pm and finish at 11pm. Closing the restaurant for lunch, for an extra fee, opens access from 11am and adds an hour. All adult guests take one of three beverage packages, which can be extended by the hour, and a spirits and cocktail bar tab can be added. Live music is allowed up to a four-piece band, and DJs are welcome. The venue supplies tables, chairs, tableware, glassware and napkins, and outside stylists can add their own touches during bump-in.

Are drinks packages compulsory?
Yes. Every adult guest needs one of the three beverage packages, Signature, Premium or Deluxe. Extra hours can be added to a package, and a separate tab can cover spirits and cocktails.
