About The Oasis One Mile Beach
The Oasis is a five-acre private retreat on Koala Place at One Mile, about 600 metres on foot from the beach. Melaleuca forest and sub-tropical gardens wrap around a central billabong with a waterfall, and a dam that is home to a flock of ducks. The heart of the property is a large covered deck of about 250 square metres, strung with fairy lights, with part of the forest growing up through it and a fitted bar at one end. Alongside it are an air-conditioned conference room, a yoga room that doubles as an indoor space, and an outdoor kitchen, barbecue and dining area. Weddings are the main event here, kept small and exclusive for between 2 and 80 guests. Couples can marry under an arbour in the gardens or beside the water, then move to the deck for dinner and dancing. Nine self-contained cabins on site let the wedding party stay over for a weekend. The property also takes other private celebrations: milestone birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties and family reunions. The venue can arrange a bar and catering options, so hosts don't have to bring in every supplier themselves. For workplaces, the deck and conference room can be hired for a single day or as part of a multi-day stay, with a projector, screen, large TV and wifi. Catering and bar packages, massages, yoga and other treatments from the on-site wellness centre can be added to the program. Every event is quoted to suit the group, so send an enquiry with your date, guest numbers and the kind of celebration you have in mind.

Wedding packages are priced separately. A midweek elopement for two starts from $5,400, a fully inclusive midweek or winter wedding without accommodation starts from $14,900, and the bespoke or DIY wedding hire with two nights of accommodation for 18 guests is priced from $15,210. A full-weekend tailored wedding is priced on application.

How many guests can The Oasis host for a wedding?
Weddings here are intimate, for anywhere from 2 to 80 guests. Small wedding packages are built around groups of up to 50, and larger ones go up to 80.
Can guests stay overnight at the venue?
Yes. There are nine self-contained cabins on the property, sleeping 18 people in private rooms or more on a shared basis. Most wedding packages include two nights of accommodation.
Is The Oasis only for weddings?
No. The venue also hosts milestone birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, family reunions, workshops and presentations. Business offsites, training days and small conferences are offered too, with day or multi-day hire.
Is food and drink provided?
The venue can organise a bar and several catering options for events, and catering and bar packages are available for corporate groups. For retreats, the venue can organise catering or groups can bring their own food.
What does day hire for a corporate group include?
Day hire of the central space starts from $1,100 and covers the covered dining deck and the air-conditioned conference room. The room comes with conference furniture, a projector and screen, a large TV and wifi.
