About Crest Birubi Beach
Crest Birubi Beach is a café and restaurant inside the Birubi Point Surf Life Saving Club building on James Paterson Street, Anna Bay. It looks straight out over Birubi Beach, at the northern edge of the Worimi Conservation Lands, so the surf and the sand dunes fill the windows. By day it serves breakfast and lunch from seasonal menus built on local produce, with coffee and a short wine list. For events, the team runs casual, cocktail-style functions rather than formal sit-down dinners. A smaller group can reserve one section of the café, while larger events can book the whole venue exclusively for a late afternoon or evening. The site names engagement parties, after-work functions and beachside weddings among the events it hosts. Catering is built around canapés. The Seaside Bites package covers six hot and cold canapés, while the Beach View package adds two substantial items served alternately over a longer service. A grazing table with cured meats, smoked salmon, cheeses, dips and fruit can be set up for guests as they arrive. The bar is fully licensed, pouring local beer on tap, bottled beer, selected wines and cocktails. Drinks can go on a tab settled by the host, or each guest can buy their own as they go. Weddings here are relaxed cocktail receptions, offered as three packages, from an essential beachside celebration to a fuller ocean party. The Beach View package is $65 per person, with six standard canapés and two substantial items served alternately over about two hours. A grazing table can be added to either package for $25 per person.
Food
The grazing table brings cured meats, smoked salmon, cheeses, bread, crackers, fruit and dips, set out for guests on arrival but not topped up. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are marked, and other dietaries can be handled with notice.

Yes. Exclusive use of the entire café is offered for events held in the late afternoon or evening. For a smaller gathering, a section of the café can be reserved instead.
How much are the function catering packages?
The Seaside Bites package is $50 per person for six canapés, with a substantial item available for an extra $15 per person. The Beach View package is $65 per person and adds two substantial canapés to six standard ones.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
The canapé menu marks vegetarian and gluten-free items, and more vegetarian dishes can be arranged on request. Other specific dietary needs can be catered for by prior arrangement with the function coordinator.
How do drinks work at a function?
The bar is fully licensed. Drinks can be charged to a tab you settle, or guests can buy their own at the bar, with local beer on tap, bottled beer, wine and cocktails available.
