About Debbi Arpini
Debbi Arpini is a Melbourne vocalist who has spent more than fifteen years singing at weddings and events. She performs ceremony music, reception sets and party entertainment, and can also act as master of ceremonies. For ceremonies she sings with professionally recorded instrumental backing, or with a live pianist or acoustic guitarist, and a saxophonist can join either. Her repertoire runs from modern love songs to hymns, gospel, soul, R&B and jazz standards. If a couple's chosen song is not on her list, she can usually learn it. The soloist package suits smaller functions such as cocktail parties, lunch receptions and intimate dinners. Debbi sings over backing tracks that recreate a band's sound, and the package includes PA and lighting sized to the room, with a live guitarist or pianist available for a small extra fee. Larger receptions, parties and corporate functions can book her band Rumours, which runs from a duo to a five-piece. The band covers jazz, swing, ballads, R&B, rock and roll, ballroom, classic rock, retro dance tracks and chart hits, and can add Italian, Greek or Jewish music. Combo packages pair Debbi's live singing during dinner with DJ Steve, who takes over the dance floor later in the night, with an MC service included.
