About The Figs Byron
The Figs Byron is a hosted garden property on Hyrama Crescent at Brunswick Heads, in the Byron Shire. Its ten acres of subtropical garden, orchard and paddock sit around four old fig trees thought to be more than 350 years old. The owners run it as a venue for elopements and micro weddings, with room for up to 25 guests. Views stretch from Mount Chincogan, Mount Warning and the Nightcap Range out to the ocean. Ceremonies can take place in the pavilion, in one of the garden settings or beneath the figs. The pavilion is an eight-sided timber building, 11 metres across, with sides that drop down and a 54 square metre hall attached. Receptions can move to a grassed area ringed by gardens, and dining outdoors under the fig trees is an option. Over 500 metres of garden paths wind through more than 60 kinds of organic fruit and nut trees, and much of it is wheelchair accessible. On site there is a 15-metre lap pool with an entry ramp, a heated spa for eight and a pool house with a bar and barbecue. Three deluxe suites sleep up to 12, one fully accessible, and parking is provided. Viewings are by appointment. Send an enquiry to arrange a visit or check dates.
