About Mullumbimby Ex-Services Club
Mullumbimby Ex-Services Club sits at 58 Dalley Street in the middle of town. It is an air-conditioned community club with a large dining room, a sports bar, a café and free off-street parking, and it runs a bowling club as part of the same business. Functions are held in two spaces. The Auditorium at the main club takes up to 220 guests, and the dining and function room at the bowling club takes up to 150. The club hires the Auditorium by the hour, the half day or the full day, and staff can set up and pack down the room for an extra charge. A basic audio kit with two wireless mics, a sound desk and simple lighting can be added, along with a data projector and screen, a lectern and a whiteboard. Catering comes from the two caterers who work across both clubs, and outside or self catering is not allowed. Menus range from morning and afternoon teas, sandwiches and high tea through to buffets, carveries, barbecues, sit-down dinners and a corporate package. Drinks are served at the club's usual bar prices, and hosts can set up a bar tab with a dollar limit and choose what it covers, such as jugs of beer or soft drinks and wine. Groups at the bowling club can also book barefoot bowls rinks. Every function needs approval from the club's board and must finish within club trading hours, and guests follow the usual club entry rules. Send an enquiry to book and the functions team will help plan the day.
