About Eat Drink Catering
Eat Drink Catering is a Byron Bay event caterer that has been cooking for celebrations around the area for more than ten years. The team brings its own pop-up kitchen to wherever the party is held, which means a hinterland homestead, a beachside pavilion or a private property with no proper kitchen can still have hot, freshly cooked food. Menus are written for each event and lean on what is in season locally. Hosts can choose a formal seated dinner, a cocktail-style party or something in between – shared platters, finger food, grazing tables, substantial fork food, food stations or stalls styled like a night market. Past wedding menus have included Italian antipasti spreads, a wok station cooking pad thai to order, a churros and doughnut bar, a gelato cart and a late-night glazed ham for hungry dancers. Weddings make up much of the work, including celebrations at Coorabella in the hinterland, beside Broken Head beach and at The Summerhouse in Byron Bay. The team also caters milestone birthdays, pool parties, intimate private dinners, a themed farewell lunch and work functions, along with festive menus for Christmas gatherings. On the day, chefs cook and plate while waiters and an event coordinator look after guests and keep the service running.
