About Byron Homemade Pizza
Byron Homemade Pizza is a mobile pizza caterer based in Byron Bay, run by co-founders Damian Casiro and Benjamin White. The business grew out of a pizza catering venture two friends started as a university project in Argentina, and it still serves that thin, crisp Argentinian-style base, cooked on a barbecue grill. The format is all you can eat. The team sets up a compact station, then cooks and serves pizzas without a break for the agreed service window, usually 1.5 to 2 hours, while pizza runners carry slices to guests and explain the toppings. The grill can turn out around 45 pizzas in under half an hour, and a few boxed pizzas are left for you at the end. Menus run from classics such as margherita, capricciosa and meat lovers to gourmet choices like prosciutto and rocket, brie, or pumpkin with caramelised onion. Packages can add garlic bread, a grazing table, canapés such as empanadas and chimichurri chicken skewers, fresh salads, Argentinian BBQ and a sweet party platter or homemade cakes. Fully vegan and vegetarian events are possible, and gluten-friendly options can be arranged ahead. The crew brings its own gazebo, grill, biodegradable plates, wooden forks and serviettes, and leaves the space tidy after pack-down.
