About See Moreton
See Moreton runs a full-day outing that leaves Rivergate Marina in Murarrie for Moreton Island (Mulgumpin), travelling on Spirit of Mulgumpin, a purpose-built catamaran with open decks, indoor seating and a licensed bar. Check-in opens at 9am, the boat leaves at about 9.30am and the group is back at the marina at around 5pm. At the island the crew run a marine discovery cruise along the western shore, looking for dolphins, dugongs and sea turtles, although sightings are never promised. Guides then take swimmers out to snorkel the Tangalooma Wrecks, with all gear, a full wetsuit and a flotation vest supplied, and first-timers are welcome. After a tropical buffet lunch there is free time on the sand for swimming, fish feeding, beach games and stand-up paddleboarding. Bookings of ten or more guests are handled as group bookings, and larger groups, events or conferences can ask about other options. The same vessel is also offered as a private charter on the Brisbane River for birthdays, Christmas parties and business functions. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to plan a group day on the bay.
