About Roaring Twenties Vintage Car Hire
Roaring Twenties Vintage Car Hire is a small Brisbane operator with two restored 1930s cars and a chauffeur who dresses for the period. Bonnie is a burgundy 1936 Chrysler Airstream sedan, and Clyde is a midnight blue 1937 Dodge Brothers tourer with a fold-down roof and leather seats. Each carries four passengers in comfort, and the rear seat leaves room for a full gown. Weddings are the main work. Couples choose a two-hour or three-hour hire, or keep a car from noon until six so the day never runs into overtime. The car takes you to the ceremony, on to photo locations and then to the reception, and the groom and his groomsmen can ride along too. Every wedding car is dressed with ribbon in one of five colours (or your own), and comes with a red carpet, parasols and golf umbrellas, a Just Married sign, a bridal emergency pack and bottled water. A late-night trip from the reception to your hotel or home can be added. The cars also do school formal arrivals for up to four students, two-hour art deco tours past the heritage buildings of the CBD, and leisurely bayside joy rides from Shorncliffe and Sandgate up to Redcliffe and Scarborough. Corporate outings, anniversaries and Christmas parties are priced to suit. Private viewings can be arranged before you commit, and the team is happy to talk through unusual wedding timelines. Wedding bookings run for two hours, three hours or from 12pm to 6pm; formals are a single one-way trip of up to 90 minutes. Send an enquiry with your date and plans – a deposit secures the car and the balance is paid four weeks before the event.

How many people fit in each Roaring Twenties car?
Clyde, the 1937 Dodge tourer, seats four passengers comfortably plus the driver, and five is a squeeze. Bonnie, the 1936 Chrysler sedan, has a roomy rear seat with space for a bride and her gown.
What comes with a wedding booking?
A chauffeur in period outfit, ribbon in one of five colours or your own, a red carpet, two parasols plus golf umbrellas, a Just Married sign, a bridal emergency kit and four bottles of water are all included.
How long can we keep the car on the day?
There are three wedding options: up to two hours, up to three hours, or the whole window from 12pm to 6pm. Longer bookings remove any worry about running late, and a 100km limit applies from first pick-up to the last drop-off.
Do you charge extra outside Brisbane City Council?
Standard prices cover the Brisbane council area. Pick-ups or drop-offs in Logan, the Redlands or Ipswich add $100 per vehicle, and the late-night transfer is for the city and inner suburbs only.
Can we see the cars before booking?
Yes. The owners encourage a private viewing, since photos never quite capture the cars. A deposit holds your date, and the final payment is due at least four weeks before the event.
