About Trident Jetskis Brisbane

Trident Jetskis Brisbane runs guided tours where every rider takes the controls of a late-model Sea-Doo GTI. Tours leave from Rivergate Marina in Murarrie, under the Gateway Bridge, and a licensed guide leads the pack. No jetski or boat licence is needed on a guided tour, and most guests have never driven one before. Everyone gets a safety briefing and a life jacket before setting off. The shortest trip is a one-hour ride past the Port of Brisbane to St Helena Island. A two-hour sunset tour follows the river upstream, passing beneath both the Gateway Bridge and the Story Bridge as the city lights come on. For a longer day, the five-hour Moreton Bay trip visits three islands with a lunch stop. Dolphins, turtles and seabirds are regular sightings once the river meets the bay. Groups of four or more jetskis can book a private departure with their own guide, choosing the tour and time. Up to 10 jetskis can head out together, which covers up to 20 riders. The team names bucks parties, hens parties, birthdays and corporate team building as common group bookings. Send an enquiry with your numbers and preferred tour to start planning.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a licence or any experience?

No. Riders on a guided tour do not need a jetski or boat licence under Queensland rules, and most guests are first-timers. A guide briefs everyone on the controls before departure and sets the pace on the water.

How is the price worked out?

Tours are priced per jetski, and each ski carries up to two people or 200kg. The one-hour St Helena Island tour is $220 per ski, the two-hour sunset tour $299 and the five-hour Moreton Bay trip $588, so sharing a ski halves the cost for each rider.

How big a group can you take?

Private departures start at four jetskis and go up to 10, which carries up to 20 riders. Groups of seven to 10 skis pay an extra $300 per ski to cover the additional guides and equipment needed, and smaller parties of one to three skis can join a shared departure.

Are there age limits?

Drivers must be 16 or over, and passengers must be at least 7, with anyone under 16 riding behind a driver aged 18 or over. Tours longer than four hours are 16+, photo ID is needed for every rider, and guests over 65 need a fitness check with the office first.

What should we wear and bring?

Expect to get splashed. Wear long sleeves or a rashie, shorts or swimmers, a hat with a strap and sunglasses, plus a water-resistant jacket in cooler months. Pack sunscreen, a phone and a bottle of water; life jackets and safety gear are supplied, and the ski has a front storage bin.
