About Bayside Wake Park
Bayside Wake Park is a family-run cable wakeboard park on Ferry Road in Carbrook, where an overhead cable tows riders around a lake instead of a boat. First-timers start on a beginner board or kneeboard with a life jacket and helmet, while confident riders can hire an advanced package for the fixed jumps, rails, kickers and wedges. Every rider gets a safety briefing, and trained staff supervise each session on the lake. Groups can ride together on a six-rider, two-hour pass, or hire a section of the park or the whole site for a private function. The park names birthdays, Christmas parties, corporate events and end-of-season sporting breakups among the gatherings it hosts. It holds a liquor licence, has plenty of parking and can arrange catering, so a group can ride, eat and stay on afterwards. Lessons cover riders who have never been on a board, with learn-to-wakeboard sessions, a kids' session, the Sunday morning Chicks Clinic and private coaching, plus adaptive wakeboarding. Riders must be under 100 kg and able to do a chin-up, and bookings are essential. Send an enquiry with your numbers and preferred date to plan a group visit.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a group visit cost?
A group pass covering six riders for two hours is $249. Individual ride passes are $59.50 for an hour, $69.50 for two hours, $79.50 for four hours and $89.50 for a full day, and each rider also needs a reusable armband, which is $9.50 on site.
Do we need any wakeboarding experience?
No. Ride passes include a life jacket plus a beginner wakeboard or kneeboard, and learn-to-wakeboard sessions are $50. Private lessons are $99, and every rider gets a safety briefing before heading out on the lake.
Are there any limits on who can ride?
The park sets a weight limit of 100 kg and asks that riders be able to do a chin-up, since holding the rope takes upper-body strength. Helmets are compulsory and supplied, or riders can bring their own Australian Standard water helmet.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
No. The park has a licensed cafe on site and does not allow commercial food or BYO alcohol, and anyone caught with their own alcohol is asked to leave. Catering can be arranged for group functions.
Can we hire the park privately?
Yes. Groups can hire a section of the park or the entire site for a private function such as a birthday, Christmas party or corporate event. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers so the team can tailor the event.
